We went to the grocery store after my run (gasp) and S's tennis game and decided to try out the scanner. It went pretty well but we can't decide if it's quicker this way. You have to weigh all the produce and print the labels out, and we buy a lot of produce. Anyway, it was interesting.

Day 266: High tech shopping
We went to the grocery store after my run (gasp) and S's tennis game and decided to try out the scanner. It went pretty well but we can't decide if it's quicker this way. You have to weigh all the produce and print the labels out, and we buy a lot of produce. Anyway, it was interesting.

Huh? They have a scanner you can use, or it's your own?
All this new-fangledness frightens me.
They have the scanners at the store and when you're done, you scan it at the register and it tells you what you owe! Then you give it back. It's weird!
